Bea
As a child, Bea loved dancing in her grandparents’ living room and running around the garden with her cousins. She is most honest when she expresses herself through movement, so she dedicated nearly 27 years to ballet from formal training to a professional career.
It was in a ballet evaluation that she first heard about the GYROTONIC® Method. Her teachers advised her the modality would give her more freedom and fluidity in her movement. It was in Singapore where she had her first experience of GYROTONIC. It gave her a more balanced approach to being intentional and present with her dancing. She found a great mentor in Francisca Garcia.
Back in Manila, post-dance career, Bea wants to help people, high-performance athletes, the elderly, and those who live a sedentary lifestyle, to move more efficiently. She believes the importance of moving with intention and trusting one’s body to feel confident and empowered.
